Children's Worker for a day

Our children worker left back at the beginning of the summer, leaving a gap that no one has replaced. Fortunately, our church doesn't meet all together during the summer, so this hasn't been a problem. September has come around and we have our first all together meeting this Sunday.

After deciding that the teenagers can occupy themselves for the morning, I've been asked to become a supply Children's Worker for the day. Luckily, I helped with the children's work at my university church, because otherwise it'd be really daunting.

We're going to be using the same material that the adults will be using, which makes it a bit interesting. While the adults will have about five or six take-away points, I have to condense that into one or two, without loosing the integrity of the message we're trying to give.

So for this Sunday, I'm going to have to be all smiley and happy like a CBBC presenter.

Quick Questions
  1. CBBC, milkshake or nickelodeon?
  2. What have you had to do recently which is unusual for you?
  3. How many points do you think a message (sermon, whatever you like to call them) should have?

1 comment:

  1. 1. Tough question - although definitely not Milkshake.
    2. Get on a German bus...
    3. 3. Its the magic number.
